Assigning a dumping incident to a colleague via the PERIOPSIS Portal is a very simple process and it is described in the following few steps:

  1. Selecting the Dumping Incident: On the Dashboard, either on List View or Map View, select the dumping incident you wish to assign for cleanup.
Selecting an incident on PERIOPSIS Portal
  2. Incident Page: Upon selecting an incident, you’ll be directed to its dedicated page. Here, on the right side of your screen, you’ll find the “Incident Actions” section. This includes several options:
    • Report Incident: To assign the incident to a responsible employee for cleanup.
    • Report Visited: To report if the dumping site has been inspected.
    • Mark as Cleaned: To mark the incident as cleaned once the task is completed.
    • Mark as No Incident: To flag any false predictions.
  3. For the purpose of this article, we will focus on the “Report” button.

  4. Reporting the Incident: Upon clicking on the “Report Incident” button, the Report Incident form opens. Here, you can assign the incident to the responsible employee for cleanup. You have the option to add any comments relevant to the incident in the provided field. There is no need to include the details such as the incident location, latitude or longitude, as they will be included in the automated email they will receive in their inbox. You can select “Send Copy to My Email” to receive a copy of the report in your inbox as well. Once you click “Send Report,” the incident is officially marked as Reported. The assigned employee will receive a notification, informing them of their responsibility.
  5. Tracking Reported Incidents: Back on the Dashboard, you can utilize the Reported Incidents filter to view all dumping incidents that have been reported but not yet cleaned. This feature allows you to efficiently monitor the status of cleanup operations and ensure timely responses to all identified dumping sites. Additionally, you can visit the My Reports page on the portal to find all the reports and assignments you have created.
